The setting for sci-fi novel Amanojaku
A Titan Technology initiative, Brulle was built in 2032 as a haven for world citizens wanting to transcend the limits of their natural forms. Mood implants, limb enhancements, body modification—everybody could have any body they wanted. But when Earth’s ever-increasingly chaotic weather patterns and land failure drove thousands of refugees to Brulle, the citizens feared their trans-humanist dream would be tainted. They restricted all migrants to the overcrowded lower Stem towers, a discrimination that birthed vengeful factions hell-bent on smashing the Brullean’s dream into a nightmare.
